The Regional Government of Ancash through the Regional Office of Social Development, developed a multisectoral meeting in accordance with Supreme Decree N º 075-2010-PCM, which declares a state of emergency in the Department of Ancash in conjunction with departments of central and southern Peru, for the extreme manifestations of the winter season, with temperatures below 0 º C and the accompanying of hail and snow that come whipping districts located above 3000 meters above sea level.

This workshop was fulfilled with the aim of involving regional government institutions in implementing immediate ACTIONS aimed at reducing and minimizing risks by low temperatures in our region, this declaration of state emergency is within 60 calendar days.
today is worth mentioning that the sectors presented their plan for preventive work on the subject of the cold spell in Ancash, agreeing for the second meeting next Thursday to consolidate them, these actions provide immediate help risk individuals, ensuring timely and adequate care from damage that may occur due to low temperatures in our region.
