So this story begins suggestively, Andrés Portillo debut, written in a sharp and readable directly engaging from the first paragraph. Camilo is, as he describes himself, a man bland and without great expectations, no particulars, of weak character and comfortable, subdued by a strong and manipulative mother. So when the young and uninhibited Paula addresses and seduces him, Cameron's life full of light and shadow. The story, told in first person, without dogmatism addresses various facets of life: violence, sex, dependency, naivety and evil, a story with shades tragedy, humor, love and hate.
